2009 Tentative TOURNAMENTS
Double point’s weekends are May 15-17 and June 5-7
NOTE: To play the
It is $20.00 cheaper and you get baseballs to pay
online in 2009 at most tournaments. Unless noted on the printable entry form or
tournament director. All teams are posted on www.usssa.com and once you have your
roster online (9 players) you may start entering tournaments. If you have kids
that are not playing in the spring with your team please release them from your
roster. Please enter events early to save your spot. Please support and play
close to home while planning your USSSA spring schedule starting in Feb.

for “View Schedule”. This is the only way to pay with a credit card once you
have already entered the tournament.
Gate Fees will vary
based on Location, # of games will depend on # of teams entered (if we have an
odd # of teams, there will be 2 pool play games),
All schedules
will be posted at www.alabamausssa.org/baseball
Tuesday Night at 900 PM the week of the event. The final schedule will be
posted Thursday Night at 900 PM. Any request must be faxed 7 days prior
to the event. Go to web site above for information on requests.
Official USSSA rules will be used at all events. Specific coach pitch
playing rules for 6,7,8s and the sportsmanship code are posted at the
webpage above.
Entry is not
official until tournament entry fee is received. Teams will be removed
from all events that become full if they have not paid. An email will be
sent from USSSA if a team is removed. It is the team’s manager or head
coaches responsibility to make sure they pay in a timely manner and provide a
valid team email for all correspondence.
All teams that
have paid will forfeit their entry fee if they cancel within 10 days of the
event start date or if the event is full at any point prior to this cutoff
date. A late payment charge of $20 will be assessed to all Teams that pay
by check or online after this deadline.
NEW USSSA HIGH
SCHOOL PROGRAM 15U-18U
NOTE: To play the USSSA
CLASSSED STATE LEVEL I Tournaments, 9U.10U,11U,12U and 13U Teams must have
played in a minimum of 5 AL USSSA Tournaments. This requirement is in place to insure
that teams are properly CLASSED. Only exception to this rule is this - If the
team is formed out of a USSSA REC LEAGUE and no players have played on MAJOR
teams and no more than 3 have played on AAA teams in 2009. The team will be
allowed to enter the desired class. Teams that do not meet this requirement
will be allowed to enter the Open States.
Tournaments listed in RED are
STATE Level 1. You must play one tournament in Red to go to any USSSA World
Series including GBA and the Elite 32 WS. You can play in Both
but you will only get points for one STATE Level 1
